World’s Greatest Shave
Shave, cut or colour your hair for a great cause with the World’s Greatest Shave at Albany Creek Village on Friday 13th March from 12pm – 4pm! The Hairologists will work their magic on our brave attendees offering shaving, cutting and hairspray services with funds also being directly donated to World’s Greatest Shave! Whether you participate or come to support others, it’s set to be an amazing day.
Coles is also having a sausage sizzle from 12pm-2pm with all purchases being directly donated to the World’s Greatest Shave! The Greatest Shave will officially commence at 2pm with local member Tim Mander taking the microphone during the event.

Why Should You Participate?
Today in Australia, blood cancer is a big problem. It’s one of the top 4 most frequently diagnosed cancers and is one of the leading causes of death by cancer in our country. Every day another 41 Australians are told they have blood cancer (that’s one person every 36 minutes) and sadly 20 people will lose their life to blood cancer daily. Right now, more than 110,000 Australians are living with blood cancer or related disorders.
The Leukemia Foundation have set a bold new goal to create real change for people living with blood cancer: Zero Lives Lost to Blood Cancer by 2035. By raising money through World’s Greatest Shave, you will be working with them towards this powerful goal.
You can help make sure families facing blood cancer have a place to call home during treatment, someone to turn to, and access to the best possible care and treatment. You will also help drive funding for Australia’s best and brightest researchers in their quest to deliver rapid advancements in diagnosis, treatment, and ultimately a cure.
