Albany Creek Village Refurbishment Updates
Albany Creek Village refurbishment updates 1 November 2018.
Albany Creek Village is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar capital works and refurbishment reposition that will enhance its standing as the leading convenience and community shopping destination in Brisbane’s north-west.
The reposition and refurbishment program will include extensive internal and external improvements as well as landscaping upgrades and two new high-profile signage pylons positioned on Albany Creek Road and Wruck Crescent.
Major internal and external works are already underway, with Stage 2 commencing from 31 October 2018 inclusive of Carpark and amentiies upgrades.
Car Park Updates
From 31 October 2018, Stage 2 of the carpark upgrades will commence. Works are expected to take 3.5 weeks to complete, with a predicted finish date of 23 November 2018. Works to be undertaken are inclusive of:
- Demolish existing pavement and replace with new slab extension
- New dining area slab
- New ramps in dining area
- Kerb upgrades
- Lighting upgrades
- Concrete seating installation
- Landscaping
- Bollards
- Tiling
- Contruct new ramp to pad site
Amenities Updates
From 7 November 2018, internal amenities upgrades will commence for the female bathrooms. Works are expected to take 2 weeks to complete, with a predicted finish date of 20 November 2018. Due to construction and for safety reasons, female bathrooms near the Centre Management Office will be closed during works.
Female bathrooms near Coles will be open during this time.
